Hello everybody, I am new with motorcycles. Bought myself a winterproject Honda nighthawk CB450SC. Great little bike to start with I thought. So I took the carb off. Cleaned it properly. Soaked it, carb clean, compressed air, bought new jets and new gaskets etc. Put it back in the bike. Changed oil + oil filter. Checked petcock for leaks and cleaned it up. Inside the tank looks super. So did not have to do anything about that. Now it starts with choke on and runs for about 5 minutes. After that it stops running and I wont be able to start it up straight away. If I touch the choke it dies instantly. If I try adjusting the iddle it dies or runs really rough and then dies. What is going on? What should I look for? The bottom of the bike is getting pretty hot. Is that normal? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
